6. Every need situation has a solution<\/em>. Institutions such as libraries, medical clinics, and social service agencies are focused on finding solutions to problems. To do so they attempt to map what the client says – the words they use – onto the resources and responses of their systems. But sometimes the client is looking for something – a reassurance, and understanding – that does not come in the shape of a canned response. Nevertheless, the system will usually provide an answer of some type, in its own language and logic, whether it is useful to the client or not.<\/p>\n

O mapeamento as necessidades dos clientes, as institui\u00e7\u00f5es podem utilizar, dentre outras ferramentas, question\u00e1rios, que permitir\u00e3o verificar\u00a0o que pode ser melhorado e em qual \u00e1rea. Esse processo \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio para identificar\u00a0pontos fortes e fracos\u00a0e auxiliar na tomada de decis\u00e3o das mudan\u00e7as que\u00a0devem ocorrer para a institui\u00e7\u00e3o continuar competitiva e relevante no seu setor. Na maioria dos casos,\u00a0esse mapeamento \u00e9 feito pelos recursos do pr\u00f3prio sistema da institui\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Se por um lado o mapeamento via sistema facilita, posteriormente, o tratamento dos dados, por outro pode deixar a desejar no que se refere \u00e0s respostas esperadas pelos clientes, haja vista que nem sempre eles esperam respostas “prontas”. Isso tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 dificultado pelo fato dos sistemas gerarem respostas na sua pr\u00f3pria linguagem e l\u00f3gica, quer ser \u00fateis ou n\u00e3o para os clientes. Por isso, \u00e9 de extrema import\u00e2ncia que qualquer sistema seja\u00a0criado a partir das necessidades dos clientes, a fim de que atendam melhor suas necessidades.
